Best 2009 Christmas Gifts of the Season
Many popular Christmas gifts and toys for 2009 risk the possibility of running short on stock or completely selling out. This is especially true of the “Best of Season” toys highlighted on the 10 Best Christmas Gifts site. Because these are the best and most popular toys for the Christmas 2009 season, these are by definition the toys at the greatest risk.
Some of these items have been in short supply since they day they were released. (Some, like Zhu Zhu Pets are produced by a smaller toy manufacturer who may not have been prepared for the level of demand. Others, such as the Mattel Mindflex game were apparently just understocked by the toy sellers. We can hope these will be easier to obtain online, but there’s no way to know in advance.)

*** The time to shop for 2009 Christmas gifts is NOW. As of October 29, 2009, Reuters news reported the following worrisome information about 2009’s popular Christmas toys:
“Retailers were so nervous they over-constricted their inventories,” explains Buxbaum ….
“The best inventory–all the stuff that turns out to be the most desirable this year–will be gone by December 7,” Buxbaum predicts. “From then until Christmas, shoppers will be picking through all the remaining merchandise.
